The SAOUG Conference 2025 is taking place from 9 – 11 November in Johannesburg.
We aim to secure at least 400 delegates, with 70% of them being key business decision-makers from companies across Africa. To attract C+ level attendees, we will present a world class agenda with expert speakers – international and local – who will share insights into how to unlock the business value of next-gen Cloud technologies, applications, and AI.
Session topics will cover areas including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Advanced Data Management, AI, Business Intelligence, Developer Technologies, Test Automation, EPM, ERP, Finance, Supply Chain, Telecommunications, Government, Human Resources, Change Management, NetSuite, JD Edwards, Java, Linux, APEX, Primavera, MySQL, and Sales, Service and Marketing. An additional track has been added for repeat sessions to accommodate the most popular presentation topics.
This year we are hosting a Student Hub on Day Two with a series of presentations highlighting the latest in technology, research, and innovation. Here students, graduates and interns will have the opportunity to engage with experts, learn and be inspired by thought leaders across various industries, and gain career advice.

The SAOUG Conference 2024 brought a piece of Oracle CloudWorld to South Africa. Our agenda leveraged similar content featuring the latest innovations in cloud technology, insights into how to get the most business value from AI, and how to modernise your business through automation to increase productivity and efficiency.
Oracle keynote speakers and expert presenters shared Oracle’s strategy and vision for FY25 and beyond, including the new multi-cloud collaboration with AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure, new AI capabilities across Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications Suite, the availability of new Oracle AI agents, the availability of first Zettascale cloud computing cluster and much more. Conference delegates had the opportunity to learn about these new innovations and explore more secure, faster, and cost-effective ways to drive business transformation.
