As The South African Oracle User Group (SAOUG) is a community-driven, non-profit organisation, we require investments via Memberships to run our operations in a professional manner.
Our operations include financial management, branding and design, website development enhancements, content management, social media management, and digital marketing joint-initiatives within our Oracle ecosystem.
Membership investment enables us to provide consulting support via online meetings, onsite representation at events where possible and consistent collaboration with Oracle and the global User Groups.
Membership to the SAOUG provides the opportunity for you to enhance your Oracle Technology and Applications skills set, giving you and your company additional insights by participating in our numerous go-to-market initiatives, and gaining access to a network of Oracle Users for collaboration and information exchange.
Memberships are categorised into Company, Partner and Individual tiers, with benefits outlined according to these levels.
Company and Partner memberships cover the entire organisation and are billed annually in advance.
Refer to the Membership Categories below, and to the breakdown of benefits per Category:
Company or Institution (may have more than 1 Membership):
Up to 50 Users – R 40,000.00 per annum
From 51 – 100 Users – R 60,000.00 per annum
More than 100 Users – R 75,000.00 per annum
Oracle Partner (Certification required) – R 30,000.00 per annum
Individual Contractor – R 6,000.00 per annum
Student or Intern (valid student number required) – R 600.00 per annum
Note:
Membership ‘go live’ date is from receipt of payment with a CPI/ inflation-related annual increase.

Country Leader & Snr Legal Director, Oracle South Africa
Sandhya Ramdhany is Oracle Corporation’s Country Leader and Legal Director for South Africa. Sandhya is the lead lawyer for Oracle’s business operations in South Africa and the SADC regions and was recently appointed as the Country Leader. Sandhya is an attorney of the High Court of South Africa with over twenty years experience. She is a graduate of the University of Kwa Zulu Natal, with a postgraduate Management Advancement Program Certificate obtained from the Wits Business School.
Sandhya began her career at Oracle in 2013 after spending six years at Accenture. Prior to leading the South African and SADC Legal Department, Sandhya was Senior Legal Counsel for Oracle’s business in East and West Africa. Having worked extensively across the African continent, Sandhya advises the Corporation on matters relating to data privacy, GDPR, POPIA, intellectual property and the legal intricacies of cloud computing. She has led negotiations on complex, high-value transactions for Oracle. Sandhya is a Director and Company Secretary on the Oracle South Africa Board and Director on the Oracle Senegal Board.
Oracle Ace Director
Debra Lilley is Vice President of customer success at Inoapps and an Oracle ACE Director. She is a board member of Oracle Developer and Technology User Group (ODTUG) and a past president of the UK Oracle User Group. Debra led the Global User Group working with Oracle during the development of Oracle Fusion Applications. She has worked with Oracle Applications and Technology since 1996. Debra is also a chartered director.
